Client Requirements
The client found themselves in dispute over their charitable domain name and were unable to use the domain name for their website or email access. They contacted HCS to recover the domain and to migrate their emails to Microsoft Exchange mail.
What We Did
After several unsuccessful attempts by Sidney Nolan Trust to resolve their dispute, we contacted The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to re-establish the domain ownership. Whilst we were waiting for the domain ownership process to complete, we backed up all existing email accounts ready for migration to Microsoft Exchange mail.
We set up the Office 365 portal, registering the account as a charitable organisation, reducing their costs dramatically.
Once we established domain ownership for Sidney Nolan Trust, we configured over 10 users for access to Office 365 applications and most importantly their Exchange mail boxes.
Conclusion
After completing the migration to Microsoft 365, Sidney Nolan Trust were able to gain full control over their Office licensing and email accounts. Subsequently, we now administer the Microsoft portal for them and have since set up a local data server, with cloud back up and VPN remote connectivity.
We also procure their IT equipment, ensuring they have reliable hardware for the efficient day to day running of their charity.
